Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pack food and beverage orders according to tickets and service standards.
- Verify order completeness, presentation, and packaging quality before dispatch.
- Coordinate closely with kitchen staff, runners, and delivery riders to ensure timely order flow.
- Label and organize takeaway and delivery orders correctly to avoid mix-ups.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the packing and expediting area at all times.
- Report missing items, delays, or order discrepancies promptly to supervisors.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and handling standards in line with hospitality regulations.
- Assist with basic inventory checks for packaging materials (containers, bags, cutlery, etc.).
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hospitality, kitchen support, or order-packing role is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle multiple orders efficiently.
