Job Summary
As a Verbal Tutor, you will help students struggling with reading, writing, and grammar. As a Verbal tutor, your job duties vary, depending on the Verbal Exam the Student/Students take (i.e., SAT, IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT). As a Verbal tutor, you want to foster a reassuring learning environment that can enable students to learn quickly.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Tutor students on aspects relating to verbal, SAT, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS, ACT and all English-related exams
- Your responsibilities may include assessing a student’s strengths and weaknesses in different areas.
- Planning sessions to target specific skills and developing ways to help them improve.
- Engage students to prompt critical thinking and reflection.
- Beyond teaching, you will collaborate with other members of staff in all forms of events and programs that will benefit the company
- Develop a good rapport with students to instill trust and convey authority.
- Assign and hold students accountable for completing homework to reinforce material learned in sessions
Requirements:
- B.Sc./B.Edu. qualification (English preferably)
- 0-1+ years of relevant Teaching experience
- An understanding of Teaching the SAT and GRE is an added advantage
- Ability to use Microsoft Office tools
- Great written and verbal communication skills
