English Teacher
Job summary
The English Teacher will teach reading, writing, grammar, literature, and communication skills. The role ensures students develop strong English language proficiency and critical-thinking abilities.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver English lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
- Teach grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, creative writing, and literature.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments and assignments.
- Guide students in phonics, reading fluency, and writing improvement.
- Prepare teaching materials and learning aids.
- Keep accurate records of students’ academic progress and attendance.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
- Collaborate with other teachers to improve teaching strategies and curriculum delivery.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings and other programs organized by the school.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance.
- Uphold all school policies, safeguarding standards, and academic expectations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education, or related field.
- Teaching qualification (NCE, PGDE, TRCN certification preferable).
- Minimum of 2-5 years teaching experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Excellent classroom management
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity in teaching reading and writing
- Proficiency with educational technologies
- Patience, empathy, and strong instructional skills
- Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, ethical conduct and integrity.
- Confidentiality and student welfare awareness.
Work Condition:
- Full-time, on-site role
- Teaching load as assigned by the Head of School
- Occasional weekend activities
