Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to students.
- Develop lesson plans, learning materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, comprehension, and communication skills.
- Assess students’ performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor students’ progress and provide additional support where necessary.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Encourage students to develop strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
- Keep accurate records of students’ attendance, performance, and progress.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and other academic responsibilities.
- Stay updated on effective teaching methods and educational practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of teaching experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Ability to create engaging and student-centred lessons.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or relevant educational tools.
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
- Candidates with teaching certifications or relevant professional qualifications will have an added advantage.
