Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.
- Assess students’ performance through tests, assignments, examinations, and other appropriate evaluation methods.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities that support effective learning.
- Monitor students’ academic progress and provide appropriate feedback, guidance, and additional support where required.
- Maintain effective classroom management and collaborate with other teachers and school management to support students’ overall development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.Ed.) in English Language or English & Literary Studies.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably within a school environment.
- Strong knowledge of English language teaching methods, curriculum development, and assessment techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong classroom management, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Location: Ikotun/Ijegun and environs
Remuneration: NGN 80,000 -100,000 Monthly (starting salary)
