Job summary

The EMR Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying, engaging, and acquiring new clients for electronic medical records (EMR) solutions. This role focuses on building a strong sales pipeline, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence within hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and target potential clients including hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and private practices
  • Generate leads through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and digital channels
  • Conduct product presentations and demos of EMR solutions to healthcare stakeholders
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting to deal closure
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers (doctors, administrators, IT heads)
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align go-to-market strategies
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
  • Attend healthcare events, conferences, and networking forums to generate leads
  • Track and report sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback
  • Stay updated on healthcare technology trends and competitor offerings


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition
  • Experience in healthcare, SaaS, or health technology (preferred)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of EMR/EHR systems and healthcare workflow
  • Lead generation and prospecting
  • Sales pitching and product demonstrations
  • Negotiation and closing skills
  • Relationship management
  • CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and target-driven mindset

  • Number of new clients acquired
  • Monthly/quarterly revenue targets
  • Lead-to-customer conversion rate
  • Sales pipeline growth and velocity
