Electrician

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, switches, sockets, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
• Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify faults, damage, and potential safety hazards.
• Diagnose electrical problems and carry out appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Install and maintain distribution boards, electrical panels, generators, and related electrical equipment within the scope of competence.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce electrical failures and downtime.
• Test electrical installations and circuits using appropriate testing instruments.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Ensure electrical systems comply with approved standards, safety procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and urgent maintenance requests.
• Identify faulty components and recommend suitable replacements or repairs.
• Maintain electrical tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Keep accurate records of inspections, repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with other maintenance personnel and contractors during installation and repair projects.
• Report major electrical faults, material requirements, and safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow safe isolation procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment when carrying out electrical work.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience
• A minimum of SSCE
