Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transfers.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if needed.
- Administer medication reminders as directed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning.
- Accompany the client to medical appointments and social activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's health or behavior.
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred.
- Compassionate, trustworthy, and dependable.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and responsibly.
- Basic knowledge of elderly care and safety practices.
- Relevant caregiving certification is an advantage.
- Ability to provide references upon request.
- Must pass a background check
