Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy customized virtual AI tutoring agents or student-assistants capable of answering curriculum-aligned inquiries, providing guided practice, and supporting after-school learning modules.
- Build smart feedback loops to help teachers track student comprehension trends derived from AI-student interactions.
- Automate front-office and admission processes by deploying AI conversational agents on communication channels (WhatsApp, web portals, and email) to handle prospective parent inquiries, fee structure breakdowns, and tour bookings.
- Streamline internal staff workflows, record-keeping routing, and timetable management using smart triggers and API-connected tools.
- Implement automated AI notification and communication agents to keep parents updated on student attendance, performance reports, school events, and administrative notices in real time.
- Manage automated FAQ handlers to ensure parents receive instant, accurate responses outside of regular school hours.
- Integrate AI solutions smoothly with Lagooz Schools' existing digital portals, database setups, and communication infrastructure.
- Establish strict safety guardrails, content filters, and data privacy protocols to ensure all AI tools remain entirely safe, child-appropriate, and compliant with educational standards.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and hands-on experience using modern AI/LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, LlamaIndex, or OpenAI Assistants API).
- Experience building and deploying context-aware conversational agents integrated with APIs and messaging platforms (such as WhatsApp Business API or web widgets).
- A strong interest or background in educational technology, e-learning platforms, or school management software integrations.
- Ability to translate the daily administrative and learning hurdles of a top-tier Nigerian primary and secondary institution into clean, automated technical workflows.
