Responsibilities:
Teaching and Learning:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Economics lessons in line with the approved curriculum (Cambridge/British/Nigerian curriculum as applicable).
- Prepare detailed lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials that meet curriculum standards.
- Employ a variety of teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Integrate real-life economic issues to enhance learners’ understanding and application of concepts.
Assessment and Reporting:
- Design, administer, and mark assessments (tests, assignments, examinations) in line with school policy.
- Maintain accurate records of learners’ academic progress.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to learners and parents.
- Prepare reports and contribute to academic review meetings.
