Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate play-based and structured learning activities.
- Observe, assess, and document each child's growth, milestones, and individual needs.
- Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and play.
- Encourage positive social interactions, independence, and basic self-care routines.
- Build strong, professional relationships with parents and guardians through regular updates.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and child protection guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of N.C.E, OND, Diploma, or B.Ed. in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Montessori certification or an early childhood teaching credential is an added advantage.
- 1 year of experience working as an Early Years Educator or Assistant Teacher.
- Excellent communication, patience, creativity, basic computer literacy, and strong classroom management skills.
- Must reside in or close to Shomolu.
