Responsibilities:
Safe Operation:
- Follow all traffic laws and speed limits.
- Use defensive driving to avoid road hazards.
- Keep passengers or cargo secure at all times.
Route Planning:
- Map out fast, safe routes using navigation tools.
- Check for traffic, weather, or road work updates.
- Adjust schedules to stay on time.
Vehicle Care:
- Inspect tires, fluid levels, and brakes before trips.
- Clean the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
- Report mechanical problems and schedule repairs.
Record Keeping:
- Log daily mileage, fuel use, and trip details.
- Track delivery signatures or passenger manifests.
- Keep vehicle registration and insurance updated
Requirements:
- The job seeker must be someone who is very proficient at driving and willing to learn and improve.
- Valid Nigerian driver's license.
- Minimum of 3 years' driving experience.
- Good knowledge of Lagos road network and traffic regulations.
- Must be punctual, responsible, and well-groomed.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Must reside in Festac or its environs (Satellite Town, Amuwo Odofin, Ago Palace, Mile 2, Abule Ado, etc.).
