Driver

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport staff, clients, or goods to assigned destinations.
• Follow traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
• Inspect the vehicle regularly to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, including tyres, engine oil, coolant, brakes, and fuel levels.
• Keep the vehicle clean, organised, and properly maintained.
• Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals and deliveries.
• Report mechanical faults, accidents, and other vehicle-related issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure the safety and security of passengers, goods, and the vehicle.
• Carry out other driving-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE or its equivalent.
• Valid driver's licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
• Proven experience as a professional driver.
• Good knowledge of road safety rules and local routes.
• Excellent driving skills and a strong safety record.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, honest, reliable, and well-organised.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
