Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport company staff, clients, and goods to and from designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness, and proper functioning of all parts.
- Maintain the vehicle in excellent condition through regular servicing, fueling, washing, and prompt reporting of any mechanical issues.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic regulations, road safety standards, and company driving policies to prevent accidents and ensure passenger safety.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of daily trips, mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and any repairs carried out.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials when necessary, ensuring items are properly handled and delivered without damage.
- Remain courteous and professional with staff, clients, and the public at all times, representing the company positively on the road.
- Report any delays, incidents, or route changes promptly to the supervisor or transport manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations
- Must be polite, punctual, and trustworthy.
