Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles for the transportation of goods, staff, and materials
- Plan efficient routes based on delivery schedules, road conditions, and cost considerations
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to adjust transport plans as needed
- Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of items in line with safety standards
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Track and document trips, fuel usage, mileage, and incidents accurately
- Source and coordinate third-party transport providers when company vehicles are unavailable
- Maintain clear communication using tools such as Google Maps, WhatsApp, and email for tracking and updates.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an S.S.C.E
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
