Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dispatch Rider role based in Abuja. The Dispatch Rider will be responsible for picking up and delivering packages, documents, and other items to clients and locations within assigned routes in a timely and safe manner. Daily tasks include planning delivery routes, confirming delivery addresses, obtaining delivery confirmations, maintaining logs of deliveries, and keeping the assigned motorcycle in good working condition. The role also involves adhering to traffic and safety regulations, providing courteous service to clients, and reporting any incidents, delays, or route challenges to the supervisor. The Dispatch Rider will work closely with the logistics and operations teams to ensure efficient and reliable delivery services.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Abuja road networks and ability to plan efficient delivery routes.
• Valid motorcycle rider’s license and proven experience as a dispatch rider or similar delivery role.
• Ability to follow instructions, pay attention to detail, and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Good communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle daily riding and package handling safely.
• Basic understanding of road safety, traffic regulations, and vehicle maintenance checks.
• Reliability, punctuality, and integrity in handling packages and confidential documents.
• Minimum of secondary school education (SSCE or equivalent); prior experience in logistics or courier services is an advantage.
