Dispatch Rider

Responsibilities:

• Collect and deliver packages, products, raw materials, and documents to and from suppliers, customers, and company branches.
  
• Ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed accurately and on time.
  
• Verify items before and after delivery to confirm accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and receipts.
  
• Obtain signatures or confirmation upon delivery and submit proof of delivery to the logistics department.
  
• Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing goods for dispatch when required.
• Conduct routine checks on the assigned motorcycle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  
• Report any mechanical issues or required repairs immediately.
  
• Ensure the motorcycle is clean, fueled, and serviced as scheduled.
  
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  
• Handle goods with care to prevent damage or loss.
  
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling company items or documents.
• Coordinate effectively with the logistics and production teams to plan delivery routes and schedules.
  
• Provide timely updates on completed deliveries, delays, or challenges encountered.
  
• Represent the company positively when interacting with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE / OND certificate or equivalent.
• Valid motorcycle rider’s license.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a dispatch rider (preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment).
• Good knowledge of road networks and routes within Lagos Island and Mainland.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and time management.
• Physically fit and safety-conscious.
• Basic record-keeping skills.
• Excellent navigation and route planning skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in deliveries.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Integrity and trustworthiness.

Remuneration: NGN 80,000 – 90,000 monthly (depending on experience and performance).
