Director of Operations and Business Development
Job summary
We are seeking a Director of Operations & Business Development, a senior, hands-on leader who will serve as the operational and commercial engine of our clinic. This is not a traditional management position. We need a builder: someone who can run the day-to-day with discipline, grow the business with intent, and lead people with purpose.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily clinic operations – workflows, patient experience, staffing, and quality standards.
- Build, document, and improve operational systems and SOPs across all departments.
- Ensure regulatory, safety, and compliance standards are consistently met.
- Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks before they impact staff or patients.
- Lead all business development activity, referral partnerships, corporate accounts, and outreach.
- Identify and pursue new revenue streams and strategic growth opportunities.
- Represent the business externally in meetings, events, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing on patient acquisition and brand growth initiatives.
- Lead, develop, and hold accountable department leads and team members.
- Conduct performance reviews, set KPIs, and build a high-performance culture.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top talent.
- Work with clinic ownership to set strategy, goals, and performance benchmarks.
- Own and manage operational budgets; monitor and drive financial efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports on operations, growth pipeline, and financial performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any relevant field.
- An MBA will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with proven business development results particularly in the Health sector.
- Track record leading multi-functional teams with quality results.
- Experience overseeing budget planning, tracking, and cost accountability.
- Ability to monitor financial resources and maintain budget accountability.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
