The Director of Hospital Operations provides strategic and hands-on leadership for the day-to-day operations of Kings Psychiatry’s hospital services. This is a senior, non-clinical leadership role, working closely with executive and clinical leadership to support operational excellence and scalable growth

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations across inpatient and outpatient services
- Oversee admissions, discharges, bed management, and patient flow
- Ensure 24-hour operational readiness for inpatient units
- Oversee staffing structures, duty rosters, and shift coordination
- Lead operational readiness for HEFAMAA, NHIA, and other applicable regulators
- Oversee detox-related operations from an operational and safety standpoint
- Track operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement
- Clinical Systems & Support
- Modern electronic charting system with AI-supported tools to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and support clinical care.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree (minimum) in Hospital Administration, Health Administration, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- Additional postgraduate certifications in healthcare or hospital management are an advantage
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in hospital or healthcare operations
- Demonstrated experience managing both inpatient and outpatient services
- Experience supporting detox or substance-use treatment programs is an advantage
- Strong hospital operations and systems leadership
- Experience coordinating 24-hour inpatient services
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- High professionalism, discretion, and accountability
Location & Work Structure:
- Based in Lagos State, Nigeria
- Full-time, on-site role
- Reports directly to Executive Leadership
