FMR Agency is recruiting Direct Sales Agents to support customer acquisition and revenue growth within the digital payments sector. This role is primarily field-based and requires proactive prospecting, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to consistently achieve sales targets.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential business clients, including SMEs, retail stores, hospitality outlets, corporate clients, and other businesses within assigned territories.
- Promote and sell digital payment solutions, including collection and payout services.
- Conduct product demonstrations and clearly communicate product features and benefits to prospective merchants.
- Support merchants through onboarding, KYC documentation, and account activation processes.
- Achieve assigned monthly merchant acquisition and activation targets.
- Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities using CRM tools or provided reporting platforms.
- Provide post-onboarding support to ensure customer retention and continued product usage.
- Gather and report market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor activities to the sales leadership team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in any discipline.
- 2–3 years’ experience in direct sales within the FinTech industry.
- Previous experience working with OPay, PalmPay, or Moniepoint, etc., is mandatory.
- Proven experience in merchant acquisition, field sales, and customer onboarding.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Self-motivated, confident, and target-driven.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
- Good knowledge of the Lagos business landscape.
- Basic digital literacy, including proficiency in smartphone applications, WhatsApp, and CRM tools.
