As a Digital Media and Communications Officer, you will grow our online presence, craft engaging stories, and amplify our mission, showcasing our software solutions, talent outsourcing services, and digital upskilling initiatives across Africa.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging digital platforms.
  • Create engaging, high-quality content, including graphics, videos, blog articles, newsletters, and campaigns that effectively communicate our brand value and impact.
  • Plan, implement, and manage integrated digital marketing campaigns to promote our products, services, and Foundation programs.
  • Build and nurture vibrant online communities while engaging authentically with followers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead promotional efforts for the Foundation's digital upskilling programs, showcasing transformative success stories, participant testimonials, and measurable social impact.
  • Track, monitor, and analyze social media metrics using industry-standard analytics tools, providing regular performance reports with actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure brand consistency, messaging alignment, and visual identity across all digital communication channels while collaborating with internal teams to achieve organisational goals.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Journalism, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in social media management, digital communications, or content marketing.
  • Proficiency with social media management and scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, platform insights).
  • Exceptional copywriting, storytelling, and creative content development skills with the ability to craft messages for diverse audiences.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) and video editing software is a strong advantage.
  • Portfolio showcasing successful digital campaigns, diverse content samples, analytics reports, and measurable results.
