The Design Lead is responsible for shaping and executing the visual identity of the company's brands across all marketing and communication channels. The role leads creative strategy, design execution, brand governance, and team development, ensuring high-quality, impactful visual outputs that support business growth and brand visibility.

Responsibilities:
- Set the overall visual direction and style across the company’s brand, marketing, and communications projects, establishing colour schemes, typography, layout, and graphic elements in line with group identity standards.
- Develop and lead the creative strategy for campaigns and brand outputs, translating business goals into cohesive visual concepts in partnership with marketing, product, and communications stakeholders.
- Produce monthly social media designs and advertising creatives for designated brands; lead the development and revision of all external-facing design assets to drive brand awareness and market presence.
- Design brand collateral, including brochures, eBooks, and event/webinar/newsletter creative assets. Develop and maintain brand guides that enforce visual consistency across all designated brands.
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, reviewing and approving work at all stages, providing structured feedback, and ensuring output consistently meets the highest quality standards.
- Develop design requirements for customer-facing events, webinars, and newsletters; revise and optimise external-facing designs to support engagement, retention, and loyalty objectives.
- Lead the creation of staff engagement designs and internal communications materials; ensure all internal and external brand touchpoints comply with established brand guides and group identity standards.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and creative direction to junior designers, interns, and trainees. Collaborate across functions, product, marketing, developers, and copywriters to ensure alignment on creative deliverables.
- Manage multiple concurrent design projects, coordinating resources, prioritising tasks, and ensuring the timely delivery of all design assets.
- Actively pursue continuous professional growth and bring fresh thinking into the team through shared learning, workshops, or experimental creative exploration. Stay current with design trends and technological advancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, visual communications, or creative leadership roles.
- At least 2 years of experience leading and mentoring designers, interns, and other creative team members.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and working knowledge of design tools such as Figma.
- Strong expertise in branding, visual identity development, digital marketing creatives, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
