Role Description This is a part-time, hybrid Data Analyst role based in Abuja, with flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. The Data Analyst will collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources to support business decisions and product improvements. Responsibilities include building reports and dashboards, performing exploratory and statistical analysis, and translating data findings into clear, actionable insights for internal teams. The role involves collaborating with product, operations, and learning teams to track program outcomes, measure user engagement, and identify growth opportunities. The Data Analyst will also contribute to improving data processes, documentation, and best practices within the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Data Analytics to interpret complex datasets and support data-informed decision-making.
- Solid foundation in Statistics and practical experience applying statistical methods to real-world problems.
- Experience with Data Modeling to structure data for reporting, analysis, and scalable insights.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Excel/Google Sheets and at least one analytics or BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is preferred.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation; familiarity with Python or R for analysis is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively in a part-time hybrid setting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in edtech, talent platforms, or career services is a plus.
