Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led training in cybersecurity fundamentals and intermediate concepts
- Teach topics such as network security, ethical hacking, system hardening, incident response, and cyber risk management
- Facilitate hands-on labs, simulations, and real-world scenarios
- Assess learners through tests, projects, practical evaluations
- Support curriculum updates to align with current industry trends, etc.
Requirements:
- Strong practical knowledge of cybersecurity tools and frameworks
- Experience in training, teaching, mentoring or technical facilitation is an added advantage
- Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Kali Linux, Metasploit, firewalls, SIEM tools, etc.
- Good understanding of networking operating systems and security principles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Passion for teaching and knowledge sharing
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good classroom and time management abilities
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Certifications (Advantageous): CEH, Security+, CySA+, CISSP (or in progress)
- Any relevant vendor or professional cybersecurity certification
