Credit Sales / Business Development Officer (Private Sector Loans)
Location: Lagos
We are looking for someone who knows how to grow loan portfolios, build strong client relationships, and consistently deliver results. If selling, networking, and turning opportunities into revenue comes naturally to you, this role will feel like home.
Responsibilities:
* Identify and convert new private-sector opportunities
* Build and nurture long-term client relationships
* Meet monthly sales targets (20m NGN volume and 20 loan counts)
* Maintain a healthy portfolio with NPL below 3%
* Negotiate, close deals, and support smooth onboarding
* Track market trends and share useful insights
* Prepare proposals, pitch to decision-makers, and manage your pipeline via CRM
* Represent the brand at industry events and work closely with internal teams
Requirements:
* Strong sales and business development experience
* Confidence in negotiation and closing
* Great communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to analyze data and understand market trends
* Good time management, resilience, and adaptability
*Experience with CRM tools is a plus
