Creative and Cultural Arts Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans in visual arts, music, drama, and/or dance that align with the school’s curriculum standards.
  
• Develop instructional materials and creative projects that encourage artistic expression and critical thinking.
  
• Integrate cross-curricular themes (e.g., history, literature, culture) into creative arts lessons.
  
• Teach students a variety of art techniques, media, and concepts appropriate to their age and skill level.
  
• Demonstrate proper use of art tools, materials, and technology.
  
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports creativity, self-expression, and collaboration.
  
• Assess students’ artistic progress and provide constructive feedback.
  
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and participation.
  
• Prepare progress reports and participate in parent-teacher conferences as required.
  
• Maintain a safe, organized, and inspiring studio or classroom environment.
  
• Enforce school rules and promote respect for materials, peers, and creative work.
  
• Organize student art exhibitions, performances, and showcases.
  
• Coordinate with other teachers to integrate art into school events and celebrations.
  
• Stay current with new teaching methods, art trends, and educational technologies.
  
• Participate in workshops, seminars, and other training opportunities.
  
• Manage and maintain art supplies, tools, and equipment.
  
• Prepare budget requests and ensure efficient use of resources.
  
• Work with other teachers to enhance the overall curriculum through artistic projects.
  
• Contribute to school initiatives, clubs, and extracurricular activities related to the arts.

Requirements:

• Minimum BSc
• 2 years of previous work experience in similar role
