Job Title: Cost Accountant
Reports To: Factory Accountant
Salary: ₦350,000 net monthly
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
Responsible for cost accounting, financial analysis, and accurate reporting to support business decisions and ensure efficient cost management.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct cost analysis and monitor variances
Develop and maintain costing models
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Prepare monthly financial and costing reports
Ensure compliance with financial policies and VAT requirements
Provide insights to support operational and strategic decisions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
5–6 years’ experience in accounting costing
Strong Excel and analytical skills
Core Skills
Cost accounting & financial analysis
Budgeting & forecasting
Attention to detail and problem-solving
Good communication and stakeholder management
