Consultant Neurologist

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, migraines, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, and related conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and physical examinations.
• Interpret diagnostic tests, including EEG, EMG, CT scans, MRI scans, and other neurological investigations.
• Develop individualized treatment and long-term management plans for patients.
• Manage neurological emergencies and acute care cases effectively.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, radiologists, physiotherapists, ICU teams, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care and counseling.
• Participate in on-call coverage and emergency medical response services.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and medical ethics.
• Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to continuous medical education initiatives.

Requirements:

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Fellowship qualification in Neurology (FWACP, FMCP, MRCP, or equivalent).
• Valid practicing license with MDCN.
• Minimum of 5–10 years relevant clinical experience.
• Strong expertise in neurological diagnosis and patient management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure clinical environment
