Responsibilities:
System Monitoring: Watch computer consoles, network alerts, and system messages to track performance and spot errors early.Data Backups: Perform and verify routine data backup procedures to protect against system crashes and data loss.
Hardware & Peripherals Management: Maintain printers, scanners, storage devices, and server hardware, replacing media (like tapes or paper) and clearing jams.
Error Troubleshooting: Diagnose basic hardware or software failures, resolve minor disruptions, and escalate major technical issues to systems analysts or IT engineers.
Logging & Documentation: Keep detailed logs of system events, backup histories, machine malfunctions, and operational changes.
User Support: Assist internal or external users by answering operational questions and handling basic requests.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of OND
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
Remuneration: NGN 80,000
