Job summary
The Communications Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos. This role involves developing and implementing communication strategies that promote the organisation’s programmes and impact, both online and offline.

Responsibilities:
- Preparing newsletter and social media content and maintaining consistent messaging across all communication channels.
- The Communications Officer will coordinate with programme teams to gather success stories, update stakeholders, and support events with clear and engaging communication materials.
- Monitoring communication performance metrics and recommending improvements to enhance visibility and engagement.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience
- Strong general Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficient Writing skills for reports, web content, social media, and newsletters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience working in or with nonprofit or educational organisations is an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Comfort with basic AI and digital tools, and social media platforms.
