Job summary
The Clinical Specialist / Training & Education Coordinator is responsible for driving clinical adoption, product education, and customer success across ODE's clinical portfolio. The role serves as the clinical expert supporting dentists, specialists, hygienists, and practice teams through education, product demonstrations, customer onboarding, workflow implementation.

Responsibilities:
Clinical Education & Training:
- Develop and deliver clinical training programmes for dentists, specialists, hygienists, and practice staff.
- Conduct product demonstrations, hands-on workshops, webinars, and continuing education programmes.
- Coordinate customer onboarding and clinical implementation following product purchase.
- Develop training materials, clinical guides, presentations, and educational resources.
- Ensure customers achieve competency in using ODE products and workflows.
Clinical Support:
- Provide chairside and clinical support during product implementation where required.
- Support clinicians with product selection, workflow integration, and clinical application.
- Respond to clinical enquiries and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Escalate technical or product-related issues to suppliers when necessary.
- Support troubleshooting during product adoption.
Customer Success:
- Lead customer onboarding for new clinical accounts.
- Monitor customer adoption and utilisation of products.
- Conduct post-training follow-up visits to reinforce learning.
- Support customer retention through continuous engagement.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and workflow adoption.
Product Demonstrations:
- Deliver clinical product demonstrations before and after sales.
- Present clinical evidence supporting product use.
- Support Territory Managers during customer presentations.
- Demonstrate products at conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and customer meetings.
Sales Support:
- Provide clinical support during the sales process.
- Accompany Territory Managers on customer visits where clinical expertise is required.
- Assist in converting clinical interest into product adoption.
- Support key account development through ongoing education.
- Help identify clinical opportunities within customer accounts.
Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Development:
- Identify and develop local clinical champions.
- Coordinate KOL educational activities.
- Support clinical speaker programmes.
- Assist suppliers in developing local education initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with universities, teaching hospitals, and professional associations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent dental qualification.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' post-qualification clinical experience.
- Experience in restorative dentistry, preventive dentistry, orthodontics, periodontology, or implant dentistry is desirable.
- Previous experience in clinical education, product training, or dental industry roles is an added advantage.
- Experience delivering presentations or professional education programmes.
- Current practising licence with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Additional certifications in dental education or clinical training are an advantage.
