Clinic Compliance Officer
Job summary
The Clinic Compliance Officer ensures that all GEANCO-supported clinics operate in line with established clinical, administrative, and regulatory standards. The officer oversees compliance with health and safety guidelines, documentation procedures, infection prevention protocols, and GEANCO’s operational policies.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily staff activity to ensure role adherence
- Conduct spot-checks on patient registers, inventory logs, and duty rosters
- Document and escalate non-compliance or deviation from clinical scope
- Compile weekly reports on staff activity, challenges, and supplies
- Submit monthly compliance and operations reports
- Coordinate with the Midwife and GEANCO Clinic Supervisor on improvements
- Ensure outreach, antenatal days, and deliveries are properly recorded
- Manage clinic files, registers, and correspondence
- Observe client flow and suggest improvements
- Train or brief new staff on the code of conduct and clinic SOPs
- Ensure cleanliness, recordkeeping, and safety standards are consistently met
- Provide telemedicine services to the clinic
Requirements:
- Minimum of degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- RN/RM
- Valid nursing license
- Compliance oversight and ethical judgement
- Clear documentation and report writing
- Objectivity and discretion
