Job summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner/Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and overall comfort within the hotel premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and ensuring a welcoming environment that enhances guest satisfaction.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Change bed linens, towels, and restock toiletries.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas.
- Ensure rooms are properly arranged and ready for occupancy.
- Dispose of waste and maintain proper hygiene standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management.
- Replenish cleaning supplies when necessary.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Respond promptly to guest requests when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE (OND is an added advantage).
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping (preferred).
- Good physical stamina and ability to handle manual tasks.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Honest, reliable, and punctual.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
