Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in managing and caring for children with special needs
- Assist pupils with daily routines (learning, play, feeding, hygiene where necessary)
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to pupils
- Help maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive classroom environment
- Observe children and report progress or concerns to teachers
- Support learning activities and therapy sessions
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE/OND/NCE (education-related background is an advantage)
- Previous experience with children is an advantage but not compulsory
- Genuine love for children and strong empathy
- High sense of responsibility, patience, and emotional intelligence
- Ability to remain calm and supportive with children who have special needs
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and follow professional guidance
- Must be physically and emotionally fit for child care duties
- Must be willing to undergo background and child-safety checks
