Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and supervise civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, drainage systems, buildings, and other infrastructures.
• Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure that projects are executed in line with approved drawings, quality, and safety standards.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
• Liaise with architects, surveyors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Evaluate construction materials and supervise testing procedures to ensure durability and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site supervisors.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards on all project sites.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and verify contractor performance against agreed terms.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Experience in Telecom site build is an added advantage
• Certification: COREN registration or eligibility is mandatory.
• Having a PMP Certification or PRINCE2 is an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 5–10 years of proven experience in civil engineering design, supervision, or project management.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and other engineering design software.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and construction regulations.
