Job summary
We are looking for a highly organised, courteous, and efficient church receptionist/administrative officer to join our church administration team. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for members, guests, and visitors while providing vital administrative support to ensure smooth and effective daily operations.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome members, guests, and new converts with warmth and professionalism.
- Manage front-desk duties, including calls, emails, and general enquiries.
- Maintain church calendars, schedules, and office records.
- Provide administrative support to pastors and department leaders.
- Update membership databases, attendance records, and follow-up systems.
- Assist in coordinating meetings, services, events, and special programmes.
- Keep the reception area clean, organised, and inviting.
- Prepare basic letters, memos, notices, and weekly reports.
- Facilitate effective communication across departments.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and perform well under pressure.
- Good attitude, emotional maturity, and a heart for ministry.
- Must be RESPONSIBLE, teachable, and punctual and maintain confidentiality.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant is an added advantage.
- Warm, approachable, and professional demeanour.
- Detail-oriented and proactive.
- Team player with strong Christian values.
- Passionate about serving people and supporting ministry operations.
Work Schedule:
- Weekly office hours
- Sunday and midweek services
- Additional events and special programs as required
Remuneration: NGN 250,000
