Job summary
CasaLavoro Group is seeking a highly disciplined and experienced Chief Security Officer (CSO) to oversee and manage all security operations across the Group’s businesses, including hospitality, real estate, residential facilities, and commodity operations. The ideal candidate must be a retired military officer with a minimum of 8 years.

Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and full command of the company’s security operations.
- Build, structure, and manage a disciplined and professional security team across all locations.
- Establish clear operational hierarchies, duty rosters, and command protocols.
- Oversee physical security of all company assets, properties, residences, and facilities.
- Implement and monitor access control systems, surveillance, patrol routines, and perimeter security.
- Coordinate executive protection, asset protection, and event security as required.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and vulnerability audits.
- Identify potential threats and implement preventive and corrective security measures.
- Maintain intelligence gathering, reporting, and early-warning systems.
- Assist to recruit, train, and deploy security personnel in line with professional standards.
- Enforce discipline, ethical conduct, and operational readiness within the security unit.
- Conduct routine drills, emergency simulations, and refresher training.
- Lead response to security incidents, emergencies, and breaches.
- Carry out investigations and submit detailed incident and security reports.
- Liaise with law enforcement, military, and other relevant security agencies.
- Develop and enforce security policies, SOPs, and compliance procedures.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive company and executive information.
- Prepare regular security reports for executive management.
Requirements:
- Retired military officer (senior non-commissioned or commissioned rank preferred).
- Minimum of 3-8 years’ experience in senior security leadership roles.
- Proven experience heading and coordinating a multi-location security team.
- Strong background in risk management, security operations, and intelligence.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
