Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive hotel security strategy tailored to our hospitality operations.
- Oversee daily security operations, including access control, surveillance, and patrols across all facilities.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, VIPs, and hotel property.
- Lead emergency response procedures (fire, medical, evacuation, security threats).
- Conduct routine risk assessments of hotel facilities, events, and guest activities.
- Supervise, train, and manage security personnel to maintain professionalism and discretion.
- Collaborate with hotel management to ensure security measures align with guest satisfaction goals.
- Investigate incidents, complaints, and breaches, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
- Liaise with local law enforcement, emergency services, and private security partners.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Hospitality Management, Criminology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in security operations, preferably within hotels or hospitality environments.
- At least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, guest relations, and service excellence.
- Knowledge of modern security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems).
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPP) are an advantage.
