Job summary
The chief operating officer (COO) will be the head of administration, responsible for supervising all non-clinical management staff as well as every aspect of operations, holding himself accountable to only the CEO and board, and also holding every single staff member that manages every aspect of the hospital operations and services accountable to him, across all branches of the company. Together with the Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Medical Director, and the Company Secretary, he will co-manage every single aspect of the hospital.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all non-clinical operations and administrative functions across the organisation.
- Serve as the Head of Administration, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations across all branches.
- Develop and implement operational policies, systems, and processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Supervise and manage all non-clinical management staff and departmental heads.
- Ensure operational excellence across hospital services, facilities, and support functions.
- Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and operational standards.
- Work closely with the CFO, chief medical director, and company secretary to co-manage overall hospital operations and strategic direction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, medicine, or related fields.
- A master's degree in business administration or related fields will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in management in large companies with not less than 50 staff.
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership/management role.
- People without competitive experience should not apply.
- Proven experience managing operations in a hospital, surgical centre, or speciality clinic.
- Experience in process improvement, quality assurance, and healthcare compliance.
