The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will provide strategic, operational and administrative leadership for the Eye Hospital, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality, patient-centred healthcare services while driving organisational growth, financial sustainability and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Coordinate clinical and non-clinical departments and promote effective teamwork.
- Drive excellent patient experience, service quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage hospital resources, budgets, procurement, inventory and equipment.
- Oversee HMO/insurance operations, revenue collection and cost control.
- Lead workforce planning, performance management and staff productivity.
- Ensure compliance, quality assurance, risk management and patient safety.
- Monitor hospital performance using relevant KPIs and management reports.
- Develop strategic partnerships, referral networks and business-growth opportunities.
- Work closely with the Medical Director and Management/Board to achieve the hospital's strategic objectives.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience independently managing hospital operations.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Demonstrable experience in hospital administration/healthcare operations.
- Strong understanding of hospital finance, HMO/insurance, procurement and operational management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in a private, specialist or Eye Hospital will be an added advantage.
