Chief Operating Officer

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Coordinate clinical and non-clinical departments and promote effective teamwork.
• Drive excellent patient experience, service quality and operational efficiency.
• Manage hospital resources, budgets, procurement, inventory and equipment.
• Oversee HMO/insurance operations, revenue collection and cost control.
• Lead workforce planning, performance management and staff productivity.
• Ensure compliance, quality assurance, risk management and patient safety.
• Monitor hospital performance using relevant KPIs and management reports.
• Develop strategic partnerships, referral networks and business-growth opportunities.
• Work closely with the Medical Director and Management/Board to achieve the hospital's strategic objectives.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
• Proven experience independently managing hospital operations.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Demonstrable experience in hospital administration/healthcare operations.
• Strong understanding of hospital finance, HMO/insurance, procurement and operational management.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in a private, specialist or Eye Hospital will be an added advantage.
