Our client, a platform dedicated to connecting donors with impactful and sustainable projects across Africa through transparency, accountability, technology, and data-driven decision-making, is seeking a highly versatile, strategic, and execution-driven Chief of Staff to partner closely with executive leadership in driving organizational growth.

Responsibilities:
Executive & Strategic Support:
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership on organizational priorities and execution.
- Translate high-level ideas into actionable plans, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
- Coordinate and monitor strategic initiatives across departments.
- Prepare executive briefings, reports, presentations, and strategic documentation.
- Support leadership in decision-making through research, analysis, and operational insights.
Team Building & Leadership:
- Build, coordinate, and manage high-performing cross-functional teams.
- Drive accountability, performance management, and execution across departments.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and team development initiatives where necessary.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, ownership, and excellence.
- Ensure alignment between organizational goals and departmental execution.
Operations & Project Coordination:
- Oversee organizational workflows, operational systems, and project execution.
- Manage special projects and ensure timely delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Oversee resource/time allocation and milestone tracking.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend scalable solutions and process improvements.
- Coordinate meetings, follow-up actions, and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure proper tracking of deliverables, deadlines, and organizational priorities.
Stakeholder & Partnership Management:
- Represent the organization professionally with partners, donors, stakeholders, and external parties.
- Support partnership development, donor engagement, and relationship management initiatives.
- Assist in preparing partnership proposals, reports, and investor/donor-facing materials.
- Maintain strong communication channels across internal and external stakeholders.
Communication & Organizational Representation:
- Draft high-level correspondence, proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Ensure executive communication is clear, professional, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Act as a liaison between leadership and various teams or external stakeholders.
- Support brand positioning and organizational visibility where required.
Innovation & Organizational Growth:
- Drive innovative ideas and operational improvements that support scalability and impact.
- Identify opportunities for partnerships, process automation, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to strategic growth discussions and organizational expansion initiatives.
- Stay informed on trends within the nonprofit, development, technology, and impact sectors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- MSc is also an added advantage
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in operations, strategy, executive support, project management, consulting, nonprofit leadership, or similar roles.
- Strong leadership and team management capability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly professional, articulate, and confident in stakeholder engagement.
- Strong understanding of organizational strategy and execution.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, project management, and collaboration tools.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in fast-paced environments.
