Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to define and execute long-term business strategies.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making in product development, market expansion, and M&A activities.
- Align financial goals with technology-driven growth initiatives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling processes.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to ensure profitability and scalability.
- Implement systems for real-time financial reporting and analytics.
- Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, and compliance functions.
- Optimise capital structure and cash flow management.
- Drive automation and digital transformation in finance operations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish internal controls to safeguard assets and data.
- Manage risk related to cybersecurity, intellectual property, and global operations.
- Build strong relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors.
- Support fundraising, IPO readiness, or private equity engagements.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the finance function.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as CFO, VP Finance, or senior financial leader in a technology or SaaS company.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets, and technology business models (subscription, cloud, hardware/software).
- Expertise in financial planning, M&A, fundraising, and investor relations.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
