Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Teach Chemistry to JSS, SSS, and IGCSE students in line with the Nigerian and Cambridge syllabi
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons, practicals, and laboratory sessions
- Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and IGCSE examinations
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure safety, and manage science resources
- Monitor student performance, provide feedback, and keep accurate records
- Work with the HOD Science on schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments
Requirements:
- B.Ed in Chemistry or Chemistry Education is required.
- A master’s degree is an added advantage
- TRCN Certification and/or PGDE is required
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience in an International/Nigerian-Cambridge school
- Proven track record of excellent IGCSE/WAEC results
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety and practical examinations
- Good classroom management, communication, and ICT skills
- Must reside within Ogudu, Ojota, Maryland, Ketu, and environs
