Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate should prepare excellent local and international meals
- Follow recipes and video instructions
- Manage grocery shopping and kitchen stock
- Maintain high hygiene standards
- Work independently.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE qualification.
- At least 2 years of proven cooking experience in a private home, hotel, restaurant, or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian cuisine and the ability to prepare a variety of international dishes.
- Willingness and ability to learn new recipes by following videos, recipes, and detailed instructions.
- Excellent understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Honest, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Good communication skills in English. Knowledge of Yoruba/Igbo is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while taking direction when needed.
