As the Chef, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting high-quality meals while ensuring food safety, consistency, and customer satisfaction. The role involves menu development, kitchen operations, ingredient management, and maintaining hygiene and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of healthy dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Develop menus that are nutritious, appealing, and cost-effective
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and hygiene in line with food safety regulations
- Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimise food waste
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times
- Adapt menus to meet dietary needs, cultural preferences, or special requests
- Ensure timely preparation and service of meals
- Comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Work together with the senior chef to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook
- Formal culinary training or certification (an advantage)
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Strong cooking, seasoning, and food presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Time management and organisational skills
