Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and management reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory filings, and financial reporting standards
- Support internal and external audits
- Monitor cost control and profitability across logistics operations
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ICAN or ACCA certification (chartered status required)
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in logistics, shipping, or a related industry
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (IFRS)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
