Chartered Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including general ledger, financial reporting, and management accounts
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulatory standards
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models to guide strategic planning
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including taxation, payroll, and reporting obligations
• Implement and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures to strengthen financial governance
• Conduct variance analysis, identify risks, and provide actionable insights for cost optimization and revenue enhancement
• Lead, mentor, and support junior finance staff to build a high-performing finance team
• Coordinate external audits and act as the primary liaison with auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders
• Advise management on financial strategy, investment opportunities, and business performance improvements

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) with at least 5 years of experience in financial management
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, corporate finance, tax compliance, and financial reporting
• Demonstrated ability to manage audits, budgeting, and forecasting in a fast-paced environment
• Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership and people management abilities with experience in mentoring teams
• High integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to challenges
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
