Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care according to best practices and physician instructions.
- Monitor and document patients’ health conditions, reporting any changes.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, and treatments.
- Assist with medical procedures and offer support to physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about their health, medications, and post-care procedures.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of patient records.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in continuous professional development, including training and workshops.
Requirements:
- Registered and certified as a nurse with a valid license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Degree or diploma in Nursing (RN, RN-BSN, or equivalent).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and patient-focused.
- Proficiency in medical software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) is an advantage.
