Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems, including cameras, digital video recorders (DVRs), and network video recorders (NVRs).
- Conduct site inspections to determine suitable locations for CCTV cameras, network equipment, and other security devices.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain computer systems, printers, routers, switches, and other ICT equipment.
- Configure IP cameras, network connections, remote monitoring applications, and video surveillance systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and system performance issues.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on CCTV systems, computers, networking equipment, and other ICT infrastructure.
- Ensure proper cable installation, termination, labelling, and management for CCTV and network systems.
- Configure user access, system permissions, and security settings to protect surveillance and ICT infrastructure.
- Monitor CCTV system functionality and ensure cameras, recording devices, and storage systems operate effectively.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years’ experience in CCTV installation and troubleshooting
- Experience installing and configuring CCTV cameras, NVRs/DVRs and related equipment
- Knowledge of LAN/network cabling, switches, routers and access points
- Basic electrical wiring and installation experience
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults
- Ability to conduct site inspections and provide field technical support
- Good documentation and reporting skills
- Must be hands-on, reliable and safety-conscious
- Ability to work at client locations and meet service timelines
