Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process cash, card, and digital payment transactions.
- Provide receipts and ensure proper record-keeping of daily sales.
- Assist customers with menu inquiries and recommend meal options.
- Ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the cashier station.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless restaurant operations.
- Monitor and report any issues related to payment systems or cash handling.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an SSCE (Senior Secondary Certificate Examination) or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cashier in a restaurant or fast-food establishment is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and handling financial transactions.
- Strong mathematical and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must reside within the Lekki-Ajah axis for easy commuting.
- Customer-friendly demeanor and professional attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Honest, reliable, and able to manage cash responsibly.
